My parents and brother Joseph arrived in Anchorage late on February 29th and next morning we went to the cerimonial start of the Iditarod in downtown Anchorage. It was too cold for my family it was about 14 degrees that morning...
Tonight they are expecting the race to end in Nome...the leaders are approaching the finish line...
