I went out the other night and took a few photos of downtown Anchorage...
The first is of the handing flower baskets...I have to say this is one of my favorite things about summer up here...the streets are lined with potted flowers and baskets.
The second photo is just an Alaskan totem pole in front of the Once in A Blue Moose Gift Shop...
The 3rd photo is of a historic landmark...the 4th Avenue Theater. It was one of the few buildings downtown to survive the Good Friday Earthquake which registered a 8.4 on the Richter Scale (The most powerful earthquake recorded in North American history).
